Our Response to COVID-19

The poor and the vulnerable in our communities are hardest hit by the COVID-19 crisis. NEW COVENANT CENTER IS OPEN and continues to provide services but we need your help. Please see our wish list below of the items needed for our soup kitchens and food pantries. We need your financial assistance and food or supply contributions now more than ever to help your neighbors in Stamford. We will also continue to update you regarding information on and the status of our program through this webpage and on all of our social media outlets.

Financial Need: Our resources will be directed to focus on meeting the unfolding and ever-changing needs of our clients. Due to the COVID-19 crisis, the demand for our services to the poor and vulnerable in Stamford is exploding. Your support will help us remain responsive to their needs.  Please consider a financial donation today to help us provide essential services to the most vulnerable of your neighbors. Program Wish Lists

Many of our area residents are already living paycheck-to-paycheck. The current situation has further reduced the income of many.  Even the slightest reduction in income can create a financial crisis for the entire household. There is a difficult path ahead for many people increasing the number of people we serve. In-kind donations will help our programs continue to serve the populations that need their services, especially the soup kitchens and food pantries. Help us ensure that families will have access to healthy, nutritious food at this critical time.
